Exciting News- New Job!

Well, it has been 10 years since I started the Ph.D. and working at the University Level. This past month, I had the opportunity to join one of the most innovative AT Teams in the country! I have taken a AT trainer position at Loudoun County Public Schools in Virginia. This position will enable me to follow my passion of technology integration in the classroom.
You have to check out the resources that the Team has collected and orgaized ( before Tara's time)

It has an amazing carousel of the 10 things highlighted (pictured above) and then you can click on the delicious link below it to get over 500 wonderful ideas! Also, explore the navigation bar on the left and look at all the amazing categories and how the carousel changes for each category.

The second cool thing every classroom teacher needs to check out is ;
The AT TIPS BLOG that has great podcasts on AT tips and tricks and now they have written a great book that is hot off the press!The Practical (and Fun!) Guide to Assistive Technology in Public Schools

I am hoping that my new job will allow me to create and share wonderful resources in collboration with the AT Team and we can just keep learning!
